Laurence Blakely
Laurence first came to Alaska in 2007 for a summer internship with the Alaska Department of Law. After graduating from the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, she returned and clerked for two years with Chief Judge Bob Coats on the Court of Appeals. A member of the Alaska Bar since 2009, Laurence also serves on the board of the Young Lawyer’s section of the Anchorage Bar Association. Laurence earned her undergraduate degree from Brown University. She spends much of her free time sailing and picking up new musical instruments, and hosts a weekly radio program featuring music from around the world.
